ACCESSIBILITY
Here at hmv Empire we think it’s incredibly important that live music is equally accessible to all.

We do not provide a specific allocation of tickets for people with disabilities but ask that you contact us on the email address below once you have purchased a ticket to talk through your requirements.

When emailing please make sure to provide in your first email:
1. Reference the show(s) you've purchased a ticket for
2. Evidence of PIP / DID / Access Cards or Equivalent

Carer Ticket
Free carer tickets are offered for people that need assistance during their visit. Carers will be expected to stay with you and assist you throughout the event, we reserve the right to ask people to leave that we feel are abusing the offer.
To apply for a free carer ticket the disabled person will need to buy a ticket as normal and notify us via email the details of your designated carer before the day of the event. Your carers name will be listed on the door when you arrive.
By accepting the free ticket, a Companion accepts responsibility for providing the support needed by the access customer to attend an event. This includes being able to provide them with additional assistance during the course of an emergency evacuation.
When arriving with your carer you will be asked to bring proof of your need for assistance by producing an Access Card, PIP, DLA, GPs note, receipt of either the severe disablement allowance or attendance allowance.
Wheelchair Users On Arrival
We ask Wheelchair users to arrive at the venue 15 minutes before the advertised doors open time (mostly 7.00pm). This allows us to get you into the venue comfortably before the majority of the crowd. We have a lift at the entrance and a lift up to the main venue.
Wheelchair Spaces in the venue
Unfortunately we do not have a raised wheelchair platform, however we are able to organise a limited number of spaces to the side of the stage, please request this via the email above.
Accessible Toilets
We have an accessible toilet in the main venue, you will need to collect a key from a security member or by asking someone behind the bar.
Non Wheelchair Seats Required
For people not in a wheelchair but need to have seating due to their disability we can reserve chairs in the main viewing area, please email ahead as above so we know to expect you.
Medical support and emergencies
We ensure we have First Aid trained bar and security staff on duty for all events. Please ask a member of staff should you require support.
Guide and assistance dogs
Guide and hearing assistance dogs are welcome, just be sure to let us know when you book. We can discuss suitable locations where your dog can stay throughout the show. Alternatively, if you would like your dog to be looked after, we can arrange this but there will be a small cost * We recommend bringing hearing protection for your dog please.

At the back of the venue are a large number of shop mobility parking spaces, they are at the base of Barracks car park on Barracks Way CV1 1LF also more info here:
